Data Service Evaluation Report

Pursuant to Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services, the implementation of public services is expected to be able to provide services that are in accordance with the needs and changes in various fields of community, nation and state life. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an evaluation of public services on an ongoing basis, so that people get services in accordance with their hopes and needs. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a public service body that provides services through the provision of statistical data and information in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and Government Regulation Number 51 of 1999 concerning Provision of Statistics. BPS felt the need to conduct a survey as an evaluation material to determine the needs and satisfaction of consumers with BPS services. This survey is called the Data Needs Survey. Data Needs Survey (SKD) is a survey conducted and designed by BPS to identify the level of needs and level of customer satisfaction in order to improve the quality of data and statistical information and provide better public services. The SKD was first implemented in 2005 and was only carried out at the Central BPS. In 2008, SKD was conducted at the Central BPS and five Provincial BPS as pilot projects. In 2009 and 2010, SKD was implemented in the Central BPS and eleven Provincial BPS. In 2011 - 2013, SKD was conducted in the Central BPS and 33 Provincial BPS. Since 2014, the location of the SKD implementation was developed up to the Regency / City BPS.
