After explaining the purpose and objectives of the sectoral development activities, Sasma Senimawati Manik, S.Si., M.Kom as the Coordinator of the IPDS Function who is also in charge of the Sectoral Statistics Development activities gave a detailed explanation of the activities.
In accordance with the mandate of Law and Government Regulation no. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government and Government Regulation No. 51 of 1999 concerning the implementation of sectoral statistical surveys, all Dinas/K/L are required to obtain Statistical Recommendations issued by BPS.
In addition, another obligation is that each Office/K/L must submit publications and Metadata from survey activities and Administrative Products (Promin) that they carry out.
The aim is to avoid duplication of statistical administration activities, to encourage technical accountability for the results of activities, to realize a reliable, effective, and efficient SSN and to provide Statistical Metadata which becomes the reference center for statistical administration.
