One of the efforts to
improve the quality of human resources, the Central Statistics Agency of
Central Lampung Regency carries out capacity building activities to prepare
human resources to face the upcoming 2023 Agricultural Census activities. This
capacity building was carried out at the BBC Bandar Jaya Hotel, Central Lampung
on 23 August 2022 in the afternoon after returning from work. This activity was
opened directly by the Head of the Central Statistics Agency of Central Lampung
Regency and attended by not only Central Lampung BPS employees but also Central
Lampung BPS staff alumni, namely Mr. Aan Andrianto from BPS Lampung Province,
Mrs. Sasma Senimawati Manik from BPS Bandar Lampung City, and Mr. Sidik Purnomo
from BPS Metro City.
One of the objectives of
this capacity building activity is to form teamwork, be it cohesiveness,
attitude, self-confidence, time control, and strategy in completing the race.
In this capacity building activity, participants were given direct direction
and motivation by the Head of Central Lampung BPS. In addition, various
competitions were also carried out including inserting marbles into the body,
moving gloves using body parts (except hands) which were carried out in teams,
and inserting nails in groups. From all participants who took part in this
activity, 6 (six) teams were formed, each consisting of 5 people.
From this competition
activity, it was seen that the employees were very enthusiastic in completing
the game and the spirit of being a champion in giving the best results. There
was not a single team that did not receive a prize from the competition, and this
received appreciation from the team coordinator and the Head of Central Lampung
BPS. After this event, it was followed by entertainment and farewell from the
alumni of Central Lampung BPS employees, namely Mr. Aan Andrianto, Mrs. Sasma
Senimawati Manik, and Mr. Sidik Purnomo.
Many lessons were learned
from this capacity building activity. With teamwork that is carried out in a
solid, synergistic, and sustainable manner, Central Lampung Regency BPS will
always work in a compact, enthusiastic and happy manner together to achieve the
highest achievement.
