The Lampung Province Composite Consumer Price Index in April 2018 experienced a decline

Abstract

April 2018, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced a decline in the index from 134.13 in March 2018 to 134.10 in April 2018, resulting in deflation of -0.02 percent.

Of the seven expenditure groups, two groups experienced deflation, namely the foodstuffs group experienced deflation (decreased by 0.67 percent); and the prepared food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group 0.01 percent. Four other groups experienced inflation, namely the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups, which increased by 0.41 percent; clothing group 0.12 percent; health group 0.26 percent; and the transportation, communications and financial services group 0.13 percent. Meanwhile, the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in the index.
