Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in June 2018 reached US$256.97 million, an increase of US$11.34 million or 4.62 percent compared to exports in May 2018 which were recorded at US$245.63 million. Compared to June 2017, the export value of June 2018 was recorded at US$265.42, a decrease of US$8.47 million or a decrease of 3.19 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in June 2018 were animal/vegetable fats and oils; coal; coffee, tea, and spices; preparations from fruit/vegetables; and wood pulp/pulp.

The import value of Lampung Province in June 2018 reached US$241.22 million, a decrease of US$2.22 million or down 0.91 percent compared to May 2018 which was recorded at US$243.44 million. The import value in June 2018 was still higher at US$84.08 million or an increase of 53.50 percent compared to June 2017 which was recorded at US$157.14 million.

Of the five main categories of imported goods in June 2018, four of them experienced an increase, namely fertilizers each rose to 339.07 percent; oily grains rose 43.60 percent; wheat rose 25.42 percent; and live animals rose 22.62 percent. Meanwhile, another major category of imported goods experienced a decline, namely sugar and confectionery, down 22.38 percent.
