Poverty profile of the province of Lampung in March 2019

Abstract

In March 2019, the number of poor population (population with per capita monthly expenditure below the poverty line) in Lampung reached 1.06 million people (12.62%), reduced by 27.9 thousand compared to September 2018 conditions that of 1.09 million people (13.01 percent). The percentage of the poor population in urban areas in September 2018 of 9.06 percent down to 8.92 percent in March 2019. While the percentage of the poor population in rural areas by September 2018 of 14.73 percent dropped to 14.27 percent in March 2019. During the period September 2018-March 2019, the number of poor population in urban areas rose as much as 1.66 thousand people (of 230.20 thousand people in September 2018 become 231.86 thousand people in March 2019), while in rural areas is down as much as 29.6 thousand people (from 861.40 thousand people in September 2018 become 831.80 thousand people in March 2019).
