In December 2023, inflation occurred year on year (yoy) for the two cities in Lampung combined at 3.47 percent and the highest inflation occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco group at 9.36 percent.

Abstract

Pada Desember 2023, terjadi inflasi years on years (yoy) gabungan dua kota di Lampung sebesar 3,47 persen, dengan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) sebesar 118,65. Inflasi yoy Kota Bandar Lampung sebesar 3,52 persen, dengan IHK sebesar118,66 dan inflasi yoy Kota Metro sebesar 3,05 persen dengan IHK sebesar 118,60.
Inflasi terjadi karena adanya kenaikan harga yang ditunjukkan oleh naiknya sebagian besar indeks (inflasi) kelompok pengeluaran, yaitu: kelompok makanan, minuman dan tembakau sebesar 9,36 persen; kelompok pakaian dan alas kaki 1,55 persen; kelompok perumahan, air, listrik, gas dan bahan bakar rumah tangga 0,70 persen; kelompok perlengkapan, peralatan dan pemeliharaan rutin rumah tangga 2,15 persen; kelompok kesehatan 1,10 persen; kelompok rekreasi, olahraga dan budaya 1,41 persen; kelompok pendidikan 3,68 persen; kelompok penyediaan makanan dan minuman/restoran 0,98 persen; dan kelompok perawatan pribadi dan jasa lainnya 1,57 persen. Sementara kelompok pengeluaran yang mengalami penurunan indeks (deflasi), yaitu: kelompok transportasi 0,27 persen dan kelompok informasi, komunikasi dan jasa keuangan sebesar 0,28 persen.
Komoditas utama penyumbang inflasi yoy pada Desember 2023, antara lain beras, cabai merah, rokok kretek filter, bawang putih, cabai rawit, tarif air minum pam dan gula pasir.
Tingkat inflasi month to month (mtm) Desember 2023 tercatat inflasi sebesar 0,01 persen dan tingkat inflasi years to date (ytd) Desember 2023 sebesar 3,47 persen.

In October 2024, Lampung Province's Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation was 1.94 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Mesuji Regency at 2.83 percent.

December 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province was 1.57 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Mesuji Regency at 1.78 percent
