The ten main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in August 2024 were animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, spices; mineral fuels; processed vegetables, fruits, and nuts; pulp and residues of the food industry; wood pulp; sugar and confectionery; rubber and rubber goods; wood, wood products; and fish, crustaceans, and mollusks.
The main export destination countries of Lampung Province in August 2024 were Pakistan, India, the United States, Vietnam, China, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Germany, Japan and Bangladesh.
Exports by sector over the past month showed that all sectors experienced an increase, namely the agricultural sector increased by 39.15 percent; the processing industry sector increased by 34.96 percent; and the mining and other sectors increased by 13.93 percent.
The import value of Lampung Province in August 2024 reached USD 96.5 million, experiencing a decrease of USD 154.49 million or down 61.55 percent compared to July 2024, which was USD 250.99 million. The import value for August 2024 also saw a decline of USD 1.08 million or an increase of 1.13 percent compared to August 2023, which was recorded at USD 95.42 million.
The main suppliers of imported goods to Lampung Province in August 2024 were Brazil at USD 28.8 million; Australia at USD 15.41 million; China at USD 10.8 million; Argentina at USD 9.17 million; Taiwan at USD 6.54 million; the United States at USD 4.1 million; India at USD 3.68 million; Canada at USD 3.38 million; Singapore at USD 2.88 million; and Russia at USD 2.19 million.
The import value in August 2024 compared to July 2024 for consumer goods decreased by 89.04 percent, while capital goods increased by 143.64 percent, and raw materials/auxiliary materials dropped by 62.50 percent.
