In the era of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Data Revolution, Big Data, andNawacita as it is now, information on development achievements is a data sourceimportant for policy makers in planning national development.The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) organized by BPS isone source of information to get an overview of social conditionscommunity economy.Regional autonomy creates data needs up to the district/city level. DataThis is required by the district/city government as a basis for formulationpolicies and evaluation of development programs. In order to answerfor these needs, starting in 2015, Susenas data collection was carried out inIn March with a sample of 300,000 households, this is possibleestimates up to district/city level. Then in 2020 until 2020In 2023, the March Susenas sample size will be increased to 345,000 households.Susenas produces a variety of cross-sector statistics including: participationschool, reading and writing ability, APS, APK, and APM for fieldseducation; health problems, use of health insurance, smoking behavior,providing immunizations to toddlers and breast milk to toddlers, birthing places and helperschildbirth, as well as family planning participation in the fields of health, fertility and family planning; condition of the placeliving, water source for bathing and washing for residential areas; HP ownership,internet access in the use of information technology, as well as assistance/programsgovernment for the welfare of society.Susenas also collects data on household consumption and expenditure, bothfor food and non-food commodities. From these data, the averageaverage household consumption and expenditure as well as average calorie consumption andprotein per capita. Consumption and expenditure data broken down by groupCommodities can provide an overview of the consumption patterns of the population in a countryregion.This publication presents statistics that have been deemed fairly representative of the rangeareas and socio-economic conditions of society taking into account the requirementsfeasibility of estimation at the district/city level as shown by the Relative valueStandard Error (RSE) is included in the appendix.
